A RESOLUTION OF'THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA,
CALIFORNIA , '.EKPLOYING . SPECIAL . LEGAL COUNSEL IN .. THE MATTER OF
ANNEXATION PROC'EEDINGS.,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF'THE CITY'07 WEST COVINA'DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Daniel-G. Marshall be and he is hereby
employed as special legal counsel for, -the City of Wes# Covina
in the matter -of annexation -proceedings either presently pending
in said City or to be instituted' in the, future, as well as legal
work and court proceedings, if any; relating thereto, -,the compen-
sation- to be- paid for such -.services to -be in such- a reasonable sum
as may be agreed upon by and between said counsel and the City
Council of the City of West Covina,
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Resolution.
I HEREBY CERTIFY `that the foregoing Resolution was adopted
at an adjourned regular meeting -of the City•Council of the City of
West Covina, held on the 20th day of February, 1956, by the affirma-
tive vote of at least three Councilmen, to wit:
