A RESOLUTION OF' THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA,
CALIFORNIA, PROVIDING .FOR.THE 'ESTABLISHKENT AND MAINTENANCE OF
A MUNICIPAL FUND -DESIGNATED AS AND. DENOMINATED "COUNTY AID ON
STREETS FUND".
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA DOES RESOLVE; AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the public interest and convenience require
and this Council hereby orders and directs that there shall be and
is hereby established a new municipal fund, designated as and
• denominated "County Aid on Streets Fund", which fund shall be in
addition to those funds heretofore created by the provisions of
Resolution No.839, adopted November 219 1955, and which shall -be
used exclusively for the purpose of receiving all monies allotted
by the County of Los Angeles and appropriated to the City of West
Covina for use on City street projects and for accounting for the
disbursement of said funds.
SECTION 2. The City Treasurer is hereby authorized,
directed and empowered to implement the creation and maintenance
of the aforesaid municipal fund herei. nabove specified and to make
the necessary transfer of funds into said account.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Resolution.
• I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was adopted
at an adjourned regular meeting of the City Council of the City
of West Covina, held on the 6th day of February, 1956, by the
affirmative vote of at least three Councilmen, to wit:
