WHEREAS, there now exists within the City of West Covina
upon the following named streets, to -wit:
San Bernardino Road, Leland Avenue, Bromley Avenue,
Willow Avenue, Charming Street, Mossberg Avenue,
Merced Avenue, Meeker Avenue, Sunkist Avenue, Orange
Avenue, Pacific Avenue, Garvey Boulevard, Workman
Avenue, Conlon Avenue, Harbert Avenue, Francisquito
Avenue, Fairgrove Avenue, Sunset Avenue, Irwindale
Avenue, Puente Avenue, Rowland Avenue, Walnut Haven
Drive, Service Avenue, California Avenue, Crumley
Street, Duff Avenue, Vincent Avenue, Cameron Avenue,
Barbara Avenue,' Vine Avenue, Holly Place, Indian Sum-
mer Avenue, Alwood Street, Covina Avenue, Primeaux Ave-
nue, McWood Street, Michelle Street, Portner Street,
Thackery Avenue, Herring Avenue, Pima Avenue, Astell
Avenue, Avington Avenue, Lark Ellen Avenue, Larson
Street, Azusq Avenue, Cortez Street, Holenbeck Street,
Rio Verde Drive, Montezuma Way, Citrus Street, Vander -
hoof Drive, Lark Hill Drive, Spring Meadow Drive,
Far View Lane, Sunset Hill Drive, Plateau Drive, Bar-
ranca Street, Virginia Avenue, Campana Flores Drive,
Holt Avenue,. Oregon Avenue,
dead grass, dead trees and brush, trimmings from trees or
shrubs, and weeds which bear seeds of a wingy or downy
a
nature, and/or which have attained such a large growth as to
become a fire menace and which otherwise are noxious and/or
dangerous, and dead or dying,trees.,.brush, and neglected or
abandoned crops, which have existing therein or thereon pests;
and,
WI-MREAS,' such. conditions constitute 'a menace to, the
health' -'edfety -and general *elfare of the City of Nest Co-
vina
NOW$ THEREFORE, be it resolved that:
(1) Said dead grass, dead,. trees and brush, trimmings
from trees or shrubs # and weeds which bear seeds of a wingy
or downy nature,,and/or which have attained such a large
growth as to become a fire menace and „which otherwise are
noxious and/or dangerous, and,dead or dying trees, brush, and
neglected or abandoned, crops, which have existing therein or
thereon pests upon or in front of the property on the follow-
ing streets in the City of West Covina, to -wit:
San Bernardino Road, Leland Avenue, Bromley Avenue,'
Willow Avenue, Channing Street, Mossberg Avenue,

the removal thereof as provided In Ordinance No, 144 of the

for the abatement of said nuisance.
