Resolution of the City of Wiest Covina.,Ca.lifornia requesting gas
tax funds f or road improvement.
• Be it resolved that the City of West Covina adopt as a project for the
improvement of the following described streets and highways by the
grading and paving of portions of the said streets and highways.
Be it futher resolved, that the expense of th&s project in represented
by the mount of the bill from the firm of MeshaA and Son,10861
Drury Lame,Lynwood,California whisk amount Is $3,0289,00. (Three thousand
two hundred eighty nine dollars and no cents) -Contrast for the work
being awarded to tkenn at the regular Council meetineot the City Council
of West Covina held at City Hall on December 19th,1945 .
Be it futher resolved that the City of Wiest Covina request the Board
of Supervisors of Los Angeles County to supply said #3,289.00 to the
City of `pert Covina from funds heretofore accumulated by the 1/4 cent
gasoline tax fund under the provision of ruction 194 and 195 of the
Streets and Highway Cede the description of the work done is as follows
Preparing sub -grade by searifisation to a depth of 10 inshea,watering
and rollingto proper compaction,and paving with Plant Mix Rock and Oil
nn.
(1) Walnut fitreet from dine Street to' Mereed a,ve. approximately .
1303 ft* x 20 ft. wide-3 inches thick.
(2) Rowland Ave,west of Vincent Street -approximately 530 feet x
14 ft wide 2 inches thick.
