That whereas bids were heretofore published and advertised for
an addition to' the City Hall of Nest Covina and no bids having
been received and City Councilmen Van Horn and Mossberg having
contacted all contractors,in the City and surrounding community,
with out success in persuading them to bid on the ,job and
whereas the City Council believe that the urgent necessity for
.the addition to said City Hall justifies their having it built
,by day work the City to purchase the material.
Now therefore be it resolved that the City Council authorize
Councilmen Van Horn and Mossberg to proceed with hiring ca r-
�- centers and securing bids from plumbers and electricians and
ordering the material for the construction of the addition
as provided for in the plans and specifications on file.
