Upon;motion by Councilman Art Daniels, seconded by Councilman
Mossberg, duly carried by the following vote to wit

t. Is ordered that the following. 'resolution be., acid the aam in
herby adopted to wit;
WHEREAS,, Willow Avenue in the City of West Covina* between
approximat6ly 200 feet Northerly and 200 feet Southerly of
Walnut Wash is In need of improvement# and
WHEREAS,, the Road Committee of the City of West Covina believe, and
report to the Counall.,that said improvement should consist
of grading, oil sub*grade and Premix pavement and,
wHEREAS,.the Board of Supervisor n of Los Angeles County have by
Resolution duly adopted on the 18th day of April, 1944,
agreed to perform said Improvement and to that end have
appropriated the sum of $900*00 from the Motor Vehicle
Fund of said County by setting aside that amount, from
Budget Appropriations "Aid to Cities" Motor Vehicle Fund
1943-44, provided the consent of the City of West, Covina
be first given for said Improvement*
NOW THIMEFOREO be It Resolved by the City Council of the City of
West Covina* that the City grant its permission to the
County of Los Angeles to perform said labor and improvement
on said street in accordance with the said Resolution
adopted by the Board of Supervisiors, of Los Angeles
County on April 18, 1944 and,,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that If Any amount of said $900,00
appropriation shall not have been used for said
improvement of Willow Street as shown, any remaining
unexponaod portion -of said sum shall be returned to
said Motor Vehicle Fund
