Resolution - 59RESOLUTION NO. 59 A RESOLUTION CALLING A MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD APRIL 14,, 1942—_ At the regular meeting of the City Council of the City of West Covina held February 25, 1942, the following resolution was offered by Councilman Kendall, seconded by Councilman Hedges, and was unanimously adopted. RESOLVED, that a municipal election be held on April 14, 1942, for the purpose of electing two members for the City Council for long terms, That the location of the polling places and the names of the election officers and compensation provided them be and thesame are hereby fixed as follows; Polling Place ----------------------West Covina Club House Election Officers; Inspector (1)--------------- J.R. Smale Judge (1)--------------- Mrs. Charles E. Johns Clerks (2) --Mrs. `ua.bel Goheen Mrs. Charles Kranz That all of said election officers be paid the fallowing amounts as full compensation for their services in conducting said election. Inspector ------------------ $7.50 Judge ------------------ 6.00 Clerks - Each---------------- 6.00 That the polls shall be opened at 8 o'clock A.M. of said day and be kept open until 6 o'clock P.M. thereof, when the polls shall be closed. ,.. • That the City Clerk post this election notice in at least three public places in the City of West Covina.
