The following resolution was offered by Councilman Coffman,
seconded by Councilman -Hedges, and.was-unanimously adopted;
RESOLVED; That the City of "Veat`Covina.ent r into an a reement
wfth the Division of Highways of the State of Valifornia,. �09
State Building Los Angeles, California, -as follows;
That in consideration 'that the Division of -H gghways, of the
State of California mill on..or before July` 1, 19400, commence
Acftual acquisition' of lands along the 4orth side of -State High-
way in West Covina,. for the widening thereof, - and diligently
pposecute sand.*ork until all land for said purpose is acquired;
that the City Council of West Covina will deny any permit for the
erection of any- structure in West Covina on the following lands,
to -wit: .
-That strip of land- 55. feet in width ad joining the. Forth s ide
of;''State Highway in west' Covina. extending from. Orange .Avdnue -to
thy -easterly c ytn--limits, except that: at this four ,followir g
intersections,. no permit shall --be isaued -for any sttue:tu�ra in- the
area extending `400 feet along State Uighway aria 10,0 fee-t ft depot
on-- each side thereof at the foliowing inter -sec tions, to -wit
