R E S O L U T I O N
RESOLVED, THAT WHEREAS, it has been called to
the attention of .the City Council of the City.of `.test
Covina by citizens of the city that the State off Cali-
fornia is contemplating the widening of the State High-
way through the city of ':lest Covina, and placing thru
the center thereof an obstruction consisting of a
raised portion in the center or a fence which would
prevent the passage across the said highs°jay except at
certain street intersections; and
1,IHE1REAS,the City Council are of the opinion that
the widening of said State Nigh -way and the placing _of
said obstructions through the center thereof would .be
detrimental to the interests of the propertyuwners and
creat:',, a dangerous hazard to life. and property by
reason of the great speed that would be permitted to
travelers on said highway;

T.lOVI, `11-iEREl URE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City- Coun-
cil of ;test Covina go on record opposing the widening
of the State High- jay through the Cit jT of ,Test Covina,
or the placing therein of any fence or obstruction
thru the center thereof..
