ORDINANCE NO. 2123
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
COVINA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING SECTION 22-132 OF THE WEST
COVINA MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO DECREASES OF STATE
LAW MAXIMUM SPEEDS
The City Council of the City of West Covina, California, does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 22-132 of the West Covina Municipal Code is amended such that
the sub -paragraphs labeled Azusa Avenue from Amar Road to Francisquito Avenue, Amar Road
from Temple Avenue to east City limits, and Amar Road from Valinda Avenue to Temple
Avenue are deleted; and that the following sub -paragraphs are inserted:
Azusa Avenue from Amar Road to Francisquito Avenue = 45 mph
Amar Road from Valinda Avenue to Nogales Street = 45 mph
Amar Road from Nogales Street to East City Limits = 50 mph
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and shall
cause the same to be published as required by law.
