AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING
SECTIONS 22-131 AND 22-132 OF THE WEST COVINA
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO INCREASES AND
• DECREASES OF STATE LAW MAXIMUM SPEEDS.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does ordain as
follows:
Section 1. That the subparagraph labeled Merced Avenue
from Azusa to Glen Alan Avenues be amended to read:
Merced Avenue from Azusa Avenue to Glen Alan
Avenue (40 MPH)
Section 2. That the subparagraph labeled Merced Avenue
from Garvey to Van Horn Avenues, from Shadydale to California
Avenues, from Glendora to Lark Ellen Avenues and from Glenview
Road to Azusa Avenue be amended to read:
Merced Avenue from Garvey to Van Horn Avenues,
from Shadydale to California Avenues, from Glendora
to Lark Ellen Avenues and from Glenview Road to
Azusa Avenue (40 MPH)
Section 3. That the subparagraph labeled Vine Avenue
from Glendora Avenue to Hollenbeck Street be amended to read:
Vine Avenue from Glendora Avenue to
Hollenbeck Street (35 MPH)
Section 4. That a subparagraph labeled Vine Avenue
from Azusa Avenue to Hollenbeck Street be added to read:
Vine Avenue from Azusa Avenue to Hollenbeck
Steet (40 MPH)
Section 5. That the subparagraph labeled Merced
Avenue from Orange to Sunset Avenue and from Glen Alan Avenue to
Hollenbeck Street be amended to read:
Merced Avenue from Orange to Sunset Avenue
and from Glen Alan Avenue to Hollenbeck Street
(40 MPH)
Section 6. That the subparagraph labeled California
Avenue from. West Covina Parkway to Southerly City Limits be
amended to read:
California Avenue to West Covina Parkway to
Merced Avenue (40 MPH)
Section 7. That a subparagraph labeled California
Avenue to Merced Avenue to the Southerly City Limit be added to
read:

Section 8. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
passage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be
published as required by law.
