AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING
SECTION 6-37 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING
TO ANNUAL DOG LICENSE RENEWAL PERIOD
• THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 6-37 of the West Covina Municipal Code is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"Each dog license issued by the city shall be annual from May first
to April thirtieth of the next succeeding year, but shall be con-
sidered current and valid for an additional period of thirty (30)
days if a renewal license for the next year is obtained within
such a period."
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause same to be published as required by law.
SECTION 3. The amended passage shall become effective July 1, 1989.
