AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING SECTION
22-132 OF THE WEST COVINA MUNICIPAL CODE
RELATING TO DECREASES OF STATE LAW MAXIMUM
SPEEDS.

The City Council of the City of West Covina does ordain
as follows:
SECTION 1. That the West Covina Municipal Code Section
22-132 be amended by amending the subparagraph labeled Garvey
Avenue North from the westerly City limit to Cameron Avenue and
from Fairway Lane to the easterly City limit to read:
Garvey Avenue North from the westerly City
limit to Cameron Avenue, from Orange Avenue
to Vincent Avenue and from Hollenbeck Street
to Citrus Street (40 MPH).
SECTION 2. That the West Covina Municipal Code Section
22-132 be amended by amending the subparagraph labeled Garvey
Avenue North from Orange Avenue to Citrus Street and from
Barranca Street to Fairway Lane to read:
Garvey Avenue North from Azusa Avenue to
Hollenbeck Street and from Barranca Street
to Fairway Lane (35 MPH).
SECTION 3. That a new subparagraph labeled Garvey
Avenue North be added to read:
Garvey Avenue North from Fairway Lane to
the easterly City limit (45MPH).
SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
passage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be
published as required by law.
