AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING SECTION 2-23
OF THE WEST COVINA MUNICIPAL CODE PROVIDING
SALARIES FOR MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL IN
ACCORDANCE WITH STATE LAW
SECTION 1. Section 2-23 of the West Covina Municipal Code is
hereby amended by the addition"of, the following:
"Section 2-23. SALARY.
Each member of the City Council shall receive a salary in the
sum of four hundred and forty seven dollars ($447.00) per month, payable semi-
monthly on or about the 5th and 20th of each month, and subject to change as
may be provided by section 36514 and 36516 of the Government Code of the
State."
SECTION 2. The Citv Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall publish the same as required by law.
