AN ORDINANCE.OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
• OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING SECTIONS
2-130 AND 2-132b DELETING REFERENCES TO THE
B.K.K. HAZARDOUS WASTE DISPOSAL TRANSITION
TASK FORCE
SECTION NO. 1:. Section 2--130 of the Municipal Code is
amended to read as follows:
SECTION 2-130 meetings:
The Transition/Waste Management Commission shall hold
regular monthly meetings. The Commission shall determine, by a
resolution, the manner in which such meetings shall be organized
and conducted, and the day(s) of the month on which the meetings
will be held. The time and place of said meetings shall be pro-
vided by a resolution adopted by the City Council. The majority
of the members of the Commission shall consititute a quorum for
the transaction of business. All meetings,.including special
meetings, shall be held in a manner, provided for, in the Ralph
M. Acts, Section 5495 et.-seq. of the California Government Code
of the Municipal Code.
SECTION NO. 2: Section 2-132b shall be amended to read
as follows:
• Facilitate transition from the land disposal of hazardous
waste and maintain laision with the responsible agencies to deal
with the aspects of waste management issue.
SECTION NO. 3: The City Clerk shall certify to the
passage of,this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published
as required by la;,✓.
