AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
COVINA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING SECTION 2-23 OF THE
WEST COVINA MUNICIPAL CODE PROVIDING SALARIES FOR
MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL IN ACCORDANCE WITH STATE
• LAW.
SECTION I.' Section 2-23 of the West Covina Municipal Code
is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 2-23. SALARY.
Each member of the City Council shall receive a salary in
the sum of four hundred and twenty six dollars ($426.00) per.month,
payable semi-monthly on or about the 5th and 20th of each month, and
subject to such change as may be provided by sections 36514, 36516
and 36516.2 of the Government Code of the State."
SECTION 2. The effective date of this ordinance shall be
July 1, 1984.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shal-1 certify to the passage of
this ordinance and shall publish the same as required by law.
