ORDINANCE NO.1584
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE WEST COVINA
MUNICIPAL CODE TO PROVIDE SALARIES FOR MEMBERS OF
THE CITY COUNCIL COMMENCING APRIL.1983, IN ACCOR-
DANCE WITH STATE LAW.
SECTION 1. Section 2-23 of the West Covina Municipal Code
is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 2-23. SALARY.
Each member of the City Council shall receive a salary in
the sum of four hundred and six dollars ($406.00) per month, payable
monthly for each month on or about the last day of such month, and
subject to such change as may be provided by sections 36514, 36516
and 36516.2 of the Government Code of the State."
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this ordinance and shall publish the same as required by law.
