• AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA AMEND-
ING THE L7EST COVINA MUNICIPAL CODE
TO PROVIDE SALARIES FOR MEMBERS OF
THE CITY COUNCIL COMMENCING APRIL,
1982, IN ACCORDANCE WITH STATE LAW.

SECTION 1. Section 2-23 of the West Covina Municipal
Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 2-23. SALARY.
Each member of the city council shall receive a salary
in the sum of three hundred and eighty-seven dollars ($387.00)
per month, payable monthly for each month on or about the last
day of such month, and subject to such change as may be pro-
vided by sections 36514, 36516 and 36516.2 of the Government
Code of the State."
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
of this ordinance and shall publish the same as required by
law.
