AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING ARTICLE 6,.
SECTION 20-73 OF THE WEST-COVINA MUNICIPAL CODE
PERTAINING TO SUBDIVISIONS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of West Covina had
adopted Ordinance No. 1496 on September 22, 1980 for the regula-
tion and control of subdivisions; and
WHEREAS, the State.of California Subdivision Map Act
requires local subdivision ordinances to contain a parcel map
waiver procedure; and
WHEREAS, said waiver procedure incorporated in Ordinance
No. 1496 contains provision which is in conflict with the Sub-
division Map Act;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of West Covina
does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 20-73b of Article 6, Chapter 20, of the
West Covina Municipal Code is hereby repealed.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
• this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as re-
quired by law and shall send a certified copy of the ordinance to
the County Engineer of the County of Los Angeles.
