The City Council of the City of West Covina, California,
does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1: The chart of Section 10602.01 of the West
Covina Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows:

SECTION 5: Section 11000 of the West Covina Municipal
Code is hereby amended by adding the following uses, allowed by
right, to the N-C (Neighborhood Commercial) Zone:
Book binding
Copy shops
Department store
Electrical supply store
Electronic & TV_repair shops
Floor covering store
Pawn shops
Second-hand store
SECTION 6: Section.11000 of the West Covina Municipal
Code is hereby amended by -adding the following uses, allowed with
an unclassified use permit, to the N-C (Neighborhood Commercial)
Zone:
Barber & beauty colleges
Gyms
Hospital, animal
Mortuaries
SECTION 7: The City Council finds and determines that
said amendment to the Municipal Code is a minor modification to
the City's Zoning Ordinance and is, therefore, categorically exempt
(Class 5) from the requirements of the California Environmental
Quality Act of 1970 (CEQA).
SECTION 8: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as re-
quired by law.
