AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING
THE WEST COVINA MUNICIPAL CODE BY AMENDING
SECTION 10702.03, PART VII, CHAPTER 1,
ARTICLE X RELATING TO HEIGHT LIMITATIONS
OF BUILDINGS OR STRUCTURES (Amendment No. 156)
The City Council.of the City of West Covina, California,
does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1: Section 10702.03 of ,they-West-,(,,,CoVitia Municipal
'Code ishereby-,amended(:to read as:. follows::,:f
"10702.03 HEIGHT
No building or structure in the R-A and
R-1 Zones shall exceed twenty-five (25) feet in
height or two (2) stories above grade whichever is
less."
SECTION 2: The City Council finds and determines that
said amendment to the Municipal Code is.a minor modification to
the City's Zoning Ordinance and is, therefore, categorically exempt
(Class 5) from the requirements of the California Environmental
Quality Act of 1970 (CEQA).
SECTION 3: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as re-
quired by law.
