ORDINANCE NO. 1410
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
COVINA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING SECTIONS 3190 AND 3191
OF THE WEST COVINA MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO AN
INCREASE AND DECREASE IN MAXIMUM SPEED LIMITS.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does ordain
as follows:
SECTION 1. Subparagraph (ff) is hereby added to Section
3190 of the West Covina Municipal Code to read as follows:
"(ff) Cortez Street from Azusa Avenue to Hollenbeck
Street, 40 miles per hour."
SECTION 2. Subparagraph (j) of Section 3191 of the West
Covina Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
"(j) Francisquito Avenue, those portions within the
jurisdiction of the City from Willow Avenue to
California Street, 40 miles per hour."
SECTION 3. Subparagraph (v) of Section 3191 of the West
Covina Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
"(v) Cortez Street from Hollenbeck Street to Citrus Street,
40 miles per hour."
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as required
by law.

introduced and placed upon its first reading at a regular meeting
of the City Council on the 9th day of October , 1978. That there-
after said ordinance was duly adopted and passed at a regular meet-
ing of the City Council on the 23rd day of October , 1978, by the
following vote, to wit:
