AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WEST COVINA AMENDING
• SECTION 2501 OF THE WEST COVINA MUNI-
CIPAL CODE, FIXING THE COMPENSATION
OF THE CITY TREASURER.
•
The City Council of the City of West Covina does ordain
as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 2501 of the West Covina Municipal Code
is hereby amended to read as follows:
"2501. CITY TREASURER'S SALARY
Beginning August 1, 1977, the salary of the
City Treasurer of the City is hereby fixed in the sum of
$1200 per month.
The City Treasurer in office on the effective
date of this Section shall be entitled to receive the
increased compensation provided for herein and shall
continue to receive the increased compensation as long
as she holds the office. When the incumbent City
Treasurer ceases to hold the office, the salary of the
City Treasurer shall be $100 per month."
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as required
by law.
