AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WEST COVINA AMENDING"
SECTION 4307.2 OF THE WEST COVINA
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO THE LICENSING
OF DOGS AND DECLARING THE URGENCY THEREOF
TO TAKE EFFECT IMMEDIATELY.
The City Council of the.City of West `Covina does ordain
as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 4307.2 of the West Covina Municipal
Code is amended to read:
"4307.2. Same. Fees.
The fees required to be paid for the licensing of
dogs and for the bo-rding or impoundment of animals and other pound
services shall be those fees fixed and established.from time to time
by the City Council by resolution."
SECTION 2. Section 1 of this ordinance provides for the
raising of revenue for the usual and necessary.expenses of the City
and shall take effect upon the date of the adoption of this ordinance.
The fees prescribed by resolution adopted -pursuant to the authority
contained in Section 1 of this ordinance shall be payable for the
licensing year commencing July 1, 1977.
• SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as
required by law.

meeting of the City Council on the 27th day of June 1977,
