AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
�• CITY OF WEST COVINA AMENDING SECTION
3191 OF THE WEST COVINA MUNICIPAL CODE
RELATING TO A DECREASE IN MAXIMUM SPEED
LIMITS.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does
ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. Subparagraph (t) is hereby deleted from
Section 3191 of the West Covina Municipal Code.
SECTION 2. Subparagraph (q) of Section 3191 of the
West Covina Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
"(q) WEST COVINA PARKWAY from Garvey
Avenue North to Glendora Avenue,
35 miles per hour."
SECTION 3. Subparagraph (t) is hereby added to
Section 3191 of the West Covina Municipal Code to read:
"(t) GARVEY AVENUE NORTH from
Orange Avenue to Vincent
Avenue, from Azusa Avenue
• to Citrus Street and from
Barranca Avenue to the
easterly City limits, 35
miles per hour."
SECTION 4. Subparagraph (r) of Section 3191 of the
West Covina Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
"(r) GARVEY AVENUE NORTH from
westerly City limits to
Cameron Avenue, 40 miles
per hour."
SECTION 5. Subparagraph (qq) is hereby added to
Section 3191 of the West Covina Municipal Code to read:
"(qq) GARVEY AVENUE SOUTH from
westerly City limits to
Orange Avenue, 40 miles
per hour."
SECTION 6. Subparagraph (rr) is hereby added to
Section 3191 of the West Covina Municipal Code to read:
"(rr) GARVEY AVENUE SOUTH from
West Covina Parkway to
• Sunset Place, from State
Street to Cherrywood Street,
from Azusa Avenue to Calvados
Avenue and from Citrus Street
to Holt Avenue, 35 miles per
hour."

SECTION 7. Subparagraph (ss) is hereby added to
Section 3191 of the West Covina Municipal Code to read:
"(ss) GARVEY AVENUE SOUTH from
Cherrywood Street to Azusa
Avenue, 30 miles per hour."
SECTION 8. The City Clerk shall certify to the
passage of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be
published as required by law.

1326 was regularly introduced and placed upon its first
reading at a regular meeting of the City Council on the 24th
day of January , 1977. That thereafter said ordinance was
duly adopted and passed at a regular meeting of the City
Council on the 14th day of February , 1977, by the following
vote, to wit:
