AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA AMENDING THE WEST COVINA MUNICIPAL
CODE SO AS TO REZONE CERTAIN PREMISES (H. A.
• Geib - Zone Change Application No. 507).
The City Council of.the City of West Covina does
ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find, determine
and declare that the following amendment was duly initiated, that
notice of hearing thereon was duly given and published, that public
hearings thereon were duly held by the Planning Commission and the
City Council, that the public convenience, necessity and general
welfare and good zoning practice require that the following zone
change and amendment be made.
SECTION 2. The West Covina Municipal Code is hereby
amended by the addition thereto of a new Section 9202.2cq reading
as follows:
"9202.2cq. Zone Changes. Notwithstanding the provisions
of Section 9202.2 and the zoning map referred to therein, the
following premises are hereby placed and included in the
Single Family (R-1) Zone, Area District I, to wit:
That 1.078 acre portion of E. J,. Baldwin's Fourth
Subdivision, M & B 135-19, located on the north side
of Vine Avenue between California Avenue and St. Malo
Street, and as more particularly described in Zone
Change Application No. 507."
SECTION 3. The City Council does hereby find and declare
that the Negative Declaration of Environmental Impact for the
project as adopted by the Planning Commission, after notice of
public hearing, is adequate, has been prepared in accordance with
the California Environmental.Quality Act of 1970 and the State
Guidelines and is hereby adopted by the City Council.
SECTION 4. The City Council does hereby find and declare
that the zone change for the property described in Section 2 hereof
is consistent with the General Plan of the City of West Covina.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as
required by law.

1976. That, thereafter, said ordinance was duly adopted and
passed at a regular meeting of the City Council on the 8th day
of November 1976, by the following vote, to wit:

NOES: Councilmen: None
