AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, ADDING SECTION 6235.8
TO THE WEST COVINA MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO
GAMES OF SKILL AND SCIENCE.
• The City Council of the City of West Covina does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1. Section 6235.8 is added to the West Covina
Municipal Code to read:

"6235.&' GAMES OF SKILL AND SCIENCE
Any person who has a valid and unrevoked
permit for the operation, maintenance, and conduct of
games of skill and science issued pursuant to Part 4,
Chapter 3 of this Article, is exempt from the payment
of the tax imposed both by Section 6235.6 and by
Chapter 2.5 of Part VI of this Article."
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as required
by law.
