AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA FIXING THE COMPENSATION TO THE CITY
CLERK.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 2500 of the West Covina Municipal Code
is hereby amended to read as follows:
2500. CITY CLERK'S SALARY.
The salary of the City Clerk of the City is
hereby fixed in the sum of $1,086 per month.
The City Clerk in office on the effective date of this Section
shall be entitled to receive the increased compensation
provided for herein. Upon the expiration of the term of
office of the incumbent City Clerk, the salary of the City
Clerk shall be $100 per month."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall become operative on
the first day of the month following the
month in which it becomes effective.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
• this ordinance and shall cause the same to be
published as required by law.
