AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST COVINA, AMENDING SECTION 8110.1
(BUILDING) SECTION 8121 (PLUMBING) AND SECTION
8136 (ELECTRICAL) OF THE WEST COVINA MUNICIPAL
• CODE RELATING TO CONSTRUCTION FEES.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 8110.1 of the West Covina Municipal Code
is amended by amending paragraph (b) thereof to read:
"(b) Section 303 of said Building Code is amended to read as follows:
1, The building permit fees and plan check fees to be
paid to the City of West Covina shall be those
prescribed by the City Council by resolution."
SECTION 2. Section 8121 of the West Covina Municipal Code
is amended to read as follows:
118121. AMENDMENTS.
Section 1.12 of the Uniform Plumbing Code is amended
to read:
• 1.12 The schedule of feesato be paid to the City of West
Covina for work proposed to be done pursuant to the Uniform
Plumbing Code shall be those prescribed by the City Council
by resolution."
SECTION 3. Section 8136 of the West Covina Municipal Code
is amended to read as follows:
"8136. FEES - NEW CONSTRUCTION
The fees to be paid to the City of West Covina for
work to be done pursuant to the Uniform Electrical Code shall be those
prescribed by the City Council by resolution."
SECTION 4. Sections 8136.1, 8136.2, 8136.3, 8136.4, and
8136.5 of the West Covina Municipal Code are hereby repealed:
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as required by law.
