ORDINANCE NO. 1303
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA AMENDING SECTIONS 9224.3, 9230.4 AND
9231.5 OF THE WEST COVINA MUNICIPAL CODE ADOPTING
A REVISED SCHEDULE OF FEES FOR THE PROCESSING OF
MATTERS BY THE PLANNING DEPARTMENT AND THE
PLANNING COMMISSION.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does ordain
as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 9224.3 of the West Covina Municipal
Code is amended to read:
"9224.3. SAME. FILING FEES.
The following filing fees shall be paid upon the filing
of an application:
(a) For reclassification or change of zone - $200.00
plus $5.00 for each acre of land over two
affected by the zone change.
(b) For a variance - $100.00 relating to property in
a Single Family Residential Zone and $200.00
for all others.
(c) For a conditional or unclassified use permit - $150.00.
(d) For approval of precise plan of design - $100.00
for any building less than 1000 square feet and
.$100.00 plus $1.00 for each 1000 square feet of
building area over.1000.
The following fees shall be paid on the filing of an
appeal with the City Council:
(a) Appeal from decision of the Planning Commission
on a variance application, conditional or unclassified
use permit application or application for approval
of precise plan of design $25.00
(b) Appeal from action of Planning Commission in
denying reclassification or change of zone No fee"
SECTION 2. Section 9230.4 of the West Covina Municipal
Code is amended to read:
"9230.4. APPLICATION FEE.
An application for a PRD Overlay District shall be
accompanied by a filing fee of $200.00 plus $5.00 per acre
for each acre over two in the proposed PRD Overlay District."
SECTION 3. Section 9231.5 of the West Covina Municipal
Code is amended to read:
"9231.5. APPLICATION FEE.
An application for a Planned Community Development Zone
shall be accompanied by a filing fee of $300.00 plus $5.00
per acre for each acre over 100 proposed to be included in
the Planned Community Development Zone."
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
of this ordinance and shall cause the.same to be published as required
by law,.

a regular meeting of the City Council on the 14th day of June
1976, by the following vote, to wit:

NOES: Councilmen: None
