AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST COVINA AMENDING SECTIONS 9201 AND
9216.2 OF THE WEST COVINA MUNICIPAL CODE,
RELATING TO UNATTENDED BUSINESSES. (Amendment No. 134)
• The City Council of the City of West Covina does ordain as
follows:
•
SECTION 1. Section 9201, DEFINITIONS, of the West Covina
Municipal Code is amended by adding to said section immediately
following the definition "Use" the following:
"Unattended business - a business which does not have an
attendant or other representative of the owner of the business
on the premises at all times during which the business is
open to the public is an 'unattended business'."
SECTION 2. Section 9216.2 of the West Covina Municipal
Code is amended by amending the last page of the chart of uses for
which an unclassified use permit is required to read as set forth
in Exhibit A which is attached to this ordinance and, by this
reference, incorporated herein and made a part hereof.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as required
by law.
