ORDINANCE NO. 1217
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA AMENDING THE WEST COVINA MUNICIPAL
CODE SO AS TO REZONE CERTAIN PREMISES. (ZONE
CHANGE APPLICATION NO. 480 - WEST COVINA
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY)
The City Council of the City of West Covina does
ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find,
determine and declare that the following zone change amendment
was duly initiated, that notice of hearing thereon was duly
given and published, that public hearings thereon were duly
held by the Planning Commission and by the City Council, and
that the public convenience, necessity and general welfare
and good zoning practice require that the following zone
change and amendment be made.
SECTION 2. The West Covina Municipal Code is hereby
amended by the addition thereto of a new Section 9202.2b-s
reading as follows:
"9202.2b-s. Zone Changes. Notwithstanding the pro-
visions of Section 9202.2` and the zoning map referred
to therein, the following described premises are hereby
placed and included in the N-C, Neighborhood Commercial
Zone, to wit:
A 5.85 acre parcel of land located at the southwest
corner of West Covina Parkway and California Avenue
and as more particularly described in Zone Change
Application No. 480"
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the
passage of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be pub-
lished as required by law.

Covina, do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No, 1217
was regularly introduced and placed upon its first reading at
a regular meeting of the City Council on thel2th day of March ,
1973. That, thereafter, said ordinance was duly adopted and
passed at a regular meeting of the City Council on the26th day
of March , 1973, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen: Shearer, Nichols, Lloyd, Chappell, Young.
