ORDINANCE NO. 1207
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA AMENDING THE WEST COVINA MUNICIPAL
CODE SO AS TO REZONE CERTAIN PREMISES. (Zone
Change No. 474 - Thomas M. Yedor)
The City Council of the City of West Covina does ordain
as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find, determine
and declare that the following zone change and amendment was duly
initiated, that notice of hearing thereon was duly given and published,
that public hearings thereon were duly held by the Planning Commission
and by the City Council and that the public convenience, necessity
and general welfare and good zoning practice require that the follow-
ing zone change and amendment be made.
SECTION 2. The West Covina Municipal Code is hereby
amended by the addition thereto of a new Section 9202.2bo reading
as follows:
119202.2bo. Zone Changes. Notwithstanding the provisions
of Section 9202.2 and the zoning map referred to therein, the
following premises are hereby placed and included in the
MF-20 (Medium Density Multiple Family - 20 units per acre)
Zone, to wit:
A 4.7 acre parcel located at 2817 East Valley
Boulevard between Nogales Street -and Sentuous
Avenue and as more particulary described in Zone
Change Application No. 474."
SECTION 3. Pursuant to Section 9206.5f of the West Covina
Municipal Code, those modifications of yards around buildingsrequire-
ments approved by Planning Commission Resolution No. 2430 for certain
of the property rezoned by this ordinance are hereby approved.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as required
by law.
