Ordinance - 1202ORDINANCE NO,: 1202 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA AMENDING THE WEST COVINA MUNICIPAL CODE SO AS TO REZONE CERTAIN PREMISES. (Zone Change Application No. 473 - City Initiated) The City Council of the City of West Covina does ordain as follows: SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find, determine and declare that the following zone change and amendment was duly initiated, that notice of hearing thereon was duly given and published, that public hearings thereon were duly held by the Planning Commission and by the City Council, and that the public convenience, necessity and general welfare and good zoning practice require that the follow- ing zone change and amendment be made. SECTION 2. The West Covina Municipal Code is hereby amended by the addition thereto of a new Section 9202.2b-4:E,_ reading as follows: 119202.2b.. Zone Changes. Notwithstanding the pro- visions of Section 9202.2 and the zoning map referred to therein, the following described premises are hereby placed and included in the PCD-1 (Planned Community Development -1) Zone, to wit: Approximately 48 acres generally along the future extension of Nogales Street and on the north side of La Puente Road as per Exhibit "A", dated June 21, 1972, referred to and as more particularly described in Zone Change Application No. 473." SECTION 3. This ordinance shall become operative on the same day that the property described in Section 2 hereof is included within the city limits of the City of West Covina. SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as required by law.
