ORDINANCE NO. 1195
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA AMENDING THE WEST COVINA MUNICIPAL
CODE SO AS TO REZONE CERTAIN PREMISES. (Zone
Change No. 466 - City Initiated)
The City Council of the City of West Covina does ordain
as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find, determine
and declare that the following zone change and amendment was duly
initiated, that notice of hearing thereon was duly given and published,
that public hearings thereon were duly held by the Planning Commission
and by the City Council and that the public convenience, necessity
and general welfare and good zoning practice require that the follow-
ing zone change and amendment be made.
SECTION 2. The West Covina Municipal Code is hereby
amended by the addition thereto of a new Section 9202.2 bh reading
as follows:
119202.2 bh. Zone Changes. Notwithstanding the provisions
of Section 9202.2 and the zoning map referred to therein,
the following premises are hereby placed and included in
the S-C (Service Commercial) Zone, to wit:
Those certain irregularly -shaped parcels of
property located south of the West Covina Parkway
between Vincent and Valinda known as 440 South
Vincent Avenue, 505 South Vincent Avenue, 437 South
Glendora Avenue, 444 South Glendora Avenue and 445
South Glendora Avenue, all as more particularly
described in Zone Change Application No. 466.11
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as required
by law.

do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No.1195 was regularly
introduced and placed upon its first reading at a regular meeting of
the City Council on the 22nd day of May , 1972. That, there-
after, said ordinance was duly adopted and passed at a regular meeting
of the City Council on the 12th day of June 1972, by the
following vote, to wit:
