ORDINANCE NO. 1188
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA AMENDING THE WEST COVINA MUNICIPAL
CODE SO AS TO REZONE CERTAIN PREMISES. (Zone
Change Application No. 461 - Alvin W. Burnett, M.D.
and Calvin Schneider, M.D.)
The City Council of the City of West Covina does ordain as,
follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find, determine
and declare that the following zone change and amendment was duly
initiated, that notice of hearing thereon was duly given and published,
that public hearings thereon were duly held by the Planning Commission
and by the City,Council and that the public convenience, necessity
and general welfare and good zoning practice require that the follow-
ing zone change and amendment `be made.
SECTION 2. The West Covina Municipal Code is hereby
amended by the addition thereto of a new Section 9202.2.bd reading
as follows:
"9202.2.bd. Zone Changes. Notwithstanding the provisions
of Section 9202.2 and the zoning map referred to therein, the
following premises are hereby placed and included in the S-C
(Service Commercial) Zone, to wit:
That 0.86 acre parcel of property located on the
northeast corner of Azusa Avenue and Thelborn
Street and as more particularly described in Zone
Change Application No. 461.,,
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as required
by law.

do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 1188 was regularly
introduced and placed upon its first reading at a regular meeting of
the City Council on the 28th day of February , 1972. That, there-
after, said ordinance was duly adopted and passed at a regular meeting
of the City Council on the 13th day of March , 1972, by the
following vote, to wit:
