AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA ADDING SECTION 7602.5 AND AMENDING
SECTION 76o6 OF THE WEST COVINA MUNICIPAL CODE,
RELATING TO WATER FACILITIES AND SERVICE.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does ordain
as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 7602.5 is added to the West Covina
Municipal Code to read:
'17602.5 CONSTRUCTION OF WATER LINES.
Whenever application is made for a permit for the con-
struction of water lines which are a part of in -tract facilities
and are to be dedicated or otherwise conveyed to the City as a
part of the City's water system, the applicant shall, at the time
the application for the permit is filed, pay a plan check fee
of $50 and an inspection fee equal to 5% of the estimated cost
of construction of the water lines described in the application."
SECTION 2. Section 76o6 of said code.is amended by adding
a new paragraph thereto to read:
"The applicant for a temporary connection from a service line
where the connection is to be made in advance of the instal-
lation of a permanent meter shall pay a flat rate for temporary
water service based upon the meter size required to be installed
for permanent service to the premises as follows:

SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as required
by law.
