AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA AMENDING THE WEST COVINA MUNICIPAL
CODE SO AS TO REZONE CERTAIN PREMISES. (Zone
Change Application No. 439, City Initiated,
Parcel 2)
The City Council of the City of West Covina does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find, determine
and declare that the following zone change and amendment was duly
initiated, that notice of hearing thereon was duly given and published,
that public hearings thereon were duly held by the Planning Commission
and by the City Councill and that the public convenience, necessity
and general welfare and good zoning practice require that the follow-
ing zone change and.amendment be made.
SECTION 2. The West Covina Municipal Code is hereby amended
by the addition thereto of a new Section 9202.2ap reading as follows:
"9202.2ap. Zone Changes. Notwithstanding the zoning
existing upon the premises at the time the premises were
annexed to the City of West Covina, the following premises
are hereby placed and included in the One Family (R-1) Area
District IV'.: Zone, to wit:
That certain parcel of property generally located
on the southwest corner of Grand Avenue and Cortez '
Street (known as City of West Covina Annexation
No. 211) and more particularly described in Zone
Change Application 439.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as required by
law.

do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 1136 was regularly
introduced and placed upon its first reading at a regular meeting of
the City Council on the 22nd day of June , 1970. That, there-
after, said ordinance was duly adopted and passed at a regular meeting
of the City Council on the 13th day.of July 1970, by
the following vote, to wit:
