Ordinance - 1133ORDINANCE NO. 1133 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA AMENDING THE WEST COVINA MUNICIPAL CODE SO AS TO REZONE CERTAIN PREMISES. (Zone Change Application No. 437 - Standard Oil Company of California) The City Council of the City of West Covina does ordain as follows: SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find, determine and declare that the following zone change and amendment was duly initiated, that notice of hearing thereon was duly given and published, that public hearings thereon were duly held by the Planning Commission and by the City Council and that the public convenience, necessity and general welfare and good zoning practice require that the following zone change and amendment be made. SECTION 2. The West Covina Municipal Code is hereby amended by the addition thereto of a new Section 9202.2.an reading as follows: "9202.2.a,n. Zone Changes. :'Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 9202.2 and the zoning map re- ferred to therein, the following premises generally described as the Southwest corner of the intersection of Sunset and Merced Avenues, and more particularly described in Zone Change Application No. 437, are hereby placed and included in the following zones, to wit: A. A parcel of land thirty (30) feet by two • hundred (200) feet is hereby placed and included in the Neighborhood Commercial (N-C) Zone, and B. A parcel of property forty (40) feet by one hundred seventy (170) feet is hereby placed and included in the Office Pro- fessional (0-P) Zone." SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as required by law . . Passed and approved this 8th day of June , 1970.
