ORDINANCE NO. 1099
AN ORDINANCE OF THE
WEST COVINA AMENDIN
CODE WITH REFERENCE
LANDSCAPING.

THE WEST COVINA MUNICIPAL
TO THE MAINTENANCE OF
the City of West Covina does ordain as
SECTION 1. Section 4140 is added to the West Covina Municipal
Code to read:
114140. MAINTENANCE OF REQUIRED LANDSCAPING.
Landscaping installed on any lot, parcel or piece of real
property pursuant to (a) the requirements of any resolution
adopted by the Planning Commission, or '(b) the requirements of
a precise plan of design approved under Part 18 of Chapter 2
of Article IX of this code, shall be continuously maintained by
the owner or other person in possession'or control of such lot,
parcel or piece of real property."
SECTION 2. Section 4041 is added to the West Covina Municipal
Code to read:

114041. MAINTENANCE OF OTHER LANDSCAPING.
The owner or other person in possession or control of any
lot, parcel or piece of real property shall continuously maintain
any landscaping in any public right of Way which is a part of or
contiguous to such lot, parcel or piece; of real property.
The provisions of this section do not require the maintenance
of road side trees or landscaping in the median strip of any
street."
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as required by
