Ordinance - 1081ORDINANCE NO. 1081 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA AMENDING THE WEST COVINA MUNICIPAL CODE SO AS TO REZONE CERTAIN PREMISES. (Zone Change No. 397 - Charles Cricks) The City Council of the City of West Covina does ordain as follows: SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find, determine and declare that the following zone change and amendment was duly initiated, that notice of hearing thereon was duly given and published, that public hearings thereon were duly held by the Planning Commission and by the City.Council, and that the public convenience, necessity and general welfare and good zoning practice require that the following zone change and amendment be made. - SECTION 2. The West Covina Municipal Code is hereby amended by the addition thereto of a new Section 9202.2.m reading as follows: "9202.2.m. Zone Changes. Notwithstanding the provi- sions of Section 9202.2 and the Zoning Map referred to therein, the following described premises are hereby'placed and included in the S-C Service Commercial Zone, to wit: That property generally described as 210, 214 and 218 North Fleetwell Avenue between Workman Avenue and the San Bernardino Freeway and as more particularly described in Zone Change Application No. 397." SECTION 3. Because of the nature and location of the pro- perty, the lot depth requirements contained in paragraph (9) of Section 9227.2 of the West Covina Municipal Code shall not be appli- cable to the property described in Section 2 of this ordinance. SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as required by law.
