AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF'THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA ANNEXING TO THE CITY OF WEST COVINA
THAT CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESCRIBED AND
HEREINAFTER DESIGNATED AS SOUTHEASTERLY ANNEXATION
NO. 210 TO THE CITY OF WEST COVINA.
The City Council of,the City of West Covina does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to Section 54797.1 of the Government
Code and the Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1938, a petition
4eAconsent to annexation signed by the owners of all of the land herein-
after described by area and by assessed value as shown on the last equalized
assessment roll of the County of Los Angeles and designated as Southeasterly
Annexation No. 210 to the City of West Covina was filed with the Local
Agency Formation Commission, Los Angeles County, and the City of West
Covina.
SECTION 2. At its meeting of June 26, 1968, the Local Agency
Formation Commission adopted a resolution approving the said proposed
annexation of territory designated as Southeasterly Annexation No. 210
to the City of West Covina and authorized the City to conduct proceedings
without notice and hearing pursuant to Section 54797.1 of the Government
Code.
SECTION 3. Pursuant to the consent of the owners of all of
the hereinafter described land and the approval of the Local Agency
Formation Commission, Los Angeles County, the following described terri-
tory described as Southeasterly Annexation No. 210 to the City of West
• Covina is hereby annexed to the City of West'Covina:
That portion of the portion of Lot 1 of Tract No. 107941
per map filed in Book 185, page 45 of Maps, in the office
of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County, as described
in deed to Donald Black, et ux recorded in Book 34783
page 21 of Official Records in the office of said County
Recorder, described as follows:
Beginning at the most southerly corner of that certain parcel
of land described in deed to John M. Clemons, et ux recorded
in Book 36717 page 307 of said Official Records, said corner
being a point in the southwesterly boundary of said Lot 1;
thence southeasterly and easterly along the boundary of said
lot to the southeasterly corner of said lot; thence North
00 39' 20" East along the easterly line of said lot 188.72
feet to the southerly terminus of that certain 587.39 foot
radius curve in the easterly line of said lot; thence
northerly along said curve through a central angle of 30
37' 43" a distance of 37.20 feet to a point thereon, a
radial of said curve to said point bears North 870 01' 37"
East; thence South 880 29' 52" West 270.89 feet to the
boundary of the City of West Covina as same existed on May
1, 1968; thence South 60 40' 05" East along said boundary
168.57 feet to the point of beginning.
.SECTION 4. When this ordinance becomes effective the City
Clerk shall immediately prepare under seal a certified copy of the
ordinance giving the date of its passage and transmit it to the Secretary
of State.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this ordinance and cause the same to be published as required by law.
