ORDINANCE NO. 993
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA AMENDING THE WEST COVINA MUNICIPAL
CODE SO AS TO REZONE CERTAIN PREMISES. (Zone
Change No. 374 - Barhite)
The City Council of the City of West Covina does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find, determine
and declare that the following zone change and amendment was duly
initiated, that notice of hearing thereon was duly given and published,
that public hearings thereon were duly held by the Planning Commission
and by the City Council, and that the public convenience, necessity
and general welfare and good zoning practice require that the following
zone change and amendment be made.
SECTION 2. The West Covina Municipal Code is hereby amended
by the addition thereto of a new Section 9202.2.96 reading as follows:
"9202.2.96. Zone Changes. Notwithstanding the provisions
of Section 9202.2 and the Zoning Map referred to therein, the
following described premises are hereby placed and included in
the C-1 Neighborhood Commercial Zone, to wit:
That portion of Lot 12 of Eugene Riggin's Subdivision
of the Hathaway Tract, in the City of West Covina,
County of Los Angeles and State of California, as per
map recorded in book 53 page 37 of Miscellaneous Records
in the office of the County Recorder of said county,
described as follows:
Beginning at the northeast corner of said Lot 12; thence
along the easterly line of said lot 85 feet, more or less,
to the northeast corner of Lot 50 of Tract No. 18452, as
per map recorded in book 455 pages 28 and 29 of Maps,
records of said county; thence north 870 28' 03" west
along the northerly lines of Lots 50 and 49 of said Tract
No. 18452 to the northwest corner of said Lot 49; thence
north 40 29' 35" east along the easterly line of Lot 48
of said Tract No. 18452 a distance of 35.02 feet to the
northeast corner of said Lot 48; thence north 870 27'
08" west along the northerly line of Lots 48 and 47 of
said Tract No. 18452 a distance of 113.94 feet; thence
northerly parallel with the easterly line of said Lot 12
a distance of 50 feet, more or less, to the northerly
line of said Lot 12; thence easterly along said northerly
line to the point of beginning."
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as required by
law.

I, ROBERT FLOTTEN, City Clerk of the City of West Covina,
do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 993 was regularly
introduced and placed upon its first reading at a regular meeting of
the City Council on the 27th day of March , 1967. That,
thereafter, said ordinance was duly adopted and passed at a regular
meeting of the City Council on the loth day of April , 1967,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen: Nichols, Snyder, Gleckman, Mayor Krieger
NOES: Councilmen: None
