AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST COVINA AMENDING A CERTAIN SECTION OF
THE ZONING CHAPTER OF THE WEST COVINA MUNICIPAL
CODE (Amendment No. 78)
The City Council of the City of West Covina does ordain
as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find, deter-
mine and declare that the following amendments are declaratory
of and are meant to clarify existing provisions and intent and
do not change the provisions of the West Covina Municipal Code
heretofore existing.
SECTION 2. Paragraph (d) of Section 9211 of the
West Covina Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
"(d) Book or stationery store, or sale of news-
papers."
SECTION 3. Section 9211 of said Municipal Code is
hereby amended by the addition thereto of a new Paragraph (v)
reading as follows:
• "(v) Amusement devices, vending machines, and
weighing scales any of which is auxiliary
and incidental or accessory to any other
use permitted in the C-1 zone."
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
of this ordinance and cause the same to be published as required
by law.

West Covina, do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance
No. 988 was regularly introduced and placed upon its first
reading at a regular meeting of the City Council on the 23rd
• day of January, 1967. That, thereafter, said ordinance was
duly adopted and passed at a regular meeting of the City Council
on the 14th day of February, 1967, by the following vote,
to -wit:
AYES: Councilmen Gillum, Nichols, Snyder, Gleckman, Mayor Krieger
