ORDINANCE NO. 985
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST COVINA CONSENTING TO THE
IMPROVEMENT OF PORTIONS OF GRAND AVENUE
IN.SAID CITY BY THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES
The City Council of the City of West Covina does ordain
as follows:
SECTION 1. That the following named street between the
limits thereof indicated hereinafter and being within the City of
West Covina are hereby declared to be a part of the County System'
of Highways in Los Angeles County, as provided in Sections 1700
to 1704 inclusive of the Streets and Highways Code of the State
of California, and consent is hereby given to the improvement by
said County of said streets as follows:
Name of Street Limits
Grand Avenue That portion between 100 feet
north of Holt Avenue and 0.9
miles north of Temple Avenue
lying in the City of West
Covina.
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the..pas-
sage of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as
required by law and shall transmit a certified copy thereof to the
Board of Supervisors of the County of Los Angeles.

I, ROBERT FLOTTEN, City Clerk of the City of West Covina,
do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 985 was
regularly introduced and placed upon its first reading at a
regular meeting of the City Council on the 14th day of November
1966. That, thereafter, said ordinance was duly adopted and passed
at a regular meeting of the City Council on the 28th day of
November 1966, by the following vote, to wit:
