AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST COVINA CONSENTING TO THE IMPROVEMENT
OF PORTIONS OF AZUSA AVENUE AND PASS AND
COVINA ROAD IN SAID CITY BY THE COUNTY OF
LOS ANGELES
The City Council of the City of West Covina does ordain
as follows:
SECTION 1. That the following named streets between the
limits thereof indicated hereinafter and being within the City of
West Covina are hereby declared to be a part of the County System
of Highways in Los Angeles County, as provided in Sections 1700
to 1704 inclusive of the Streets and Highways Code of the State
of California, and consent is hereby given to the improvement by
said County of said streets as follows:
Name of Street Limits
Azusa Avenue That portion between Amar
Road and Pass and Covina
Road lying in the City of
West Covina.
Pass and Covina Road That portion between Amar
Road and Renault Street
lying in the City of West
Covina.
• SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the pas-
sage of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as
required by law and shall transmit a certified copy thereof to the
Board of Supervisors of the County of Los Angeles.

I, ROBERT FLOTTEN, City Clerk of the City of West Covina, do
hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 983 was regularly
introduced and placed upon its first readinat a regular meeting of
the City Council on the 24th day of Octobg er , 1966. That,
thereafter, said ordinance was duly adopted and passed at a regular
meeting of the City Council on the 14th day of November ,1966,by
the following vote, to wit:
