AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA AMENDING THE WEST COVINA MUNICIPAL
CODE SO AS TO REZONE CERTAIN PREMISES. (Zone
Change No. 366-Harry Hill Volkswagen)
The City Council of the City of West Covina does ordain
as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find, determine
and declare that the following zone change and amendment was duly
initiated, that notice of hearing thereon was duly given and pub-
lished, that public hearings thereon were duly held by the Planning
Commission and by the City Council, and that the public convenience,
necessity and general welfare and good zoning practice require that
the following zone change and amendment be made.
SECTION 2. The West Covina Municipal Code is hereby
amended by the addition thereto of a new section 9202.2.95 reading
as follows:
"9202.2.95 Zone Changes. Notwithstanding the provisions
of Section 9202.2 and the Zoning Map referred to therein,
the following described premises are hereby placed and
included in the C-2 General Commercial Zone, to wit:
That portion of Lot 165 of E.J. Baldwin's Fourth
Subdivision in the City of West Covina, County of
Los Angeles, State of California, as per map recorded
• in Book 8, Page 186 of Maps in the office of the
Recorder of said County, described as follows:
The easterly 492.38 feet of said Lot 165, measured
at right angles to the easterly line of said lot
and lying southerly of the southerly line and its
easterly prolongation of Record of Survey as recorded
in Book 60, Page 70 of Record of Surveys in the office
of the Recorder of said County.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM any portion lying within Glendora
Avenue, 100 feet wide.
ALSO EXCEPTING THEREFROM any portion of said Lot 165
lying southerly of the northerly line of Cameron
Avenue 80 feet wide as now exists.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as required
by law.

do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 979 was
regularly introduced and placed upon its first reading at a regular
meeting of the City Council on the 12th day of September , 1966.
That, thereafter, said ordinance was duly adopted and passed at a
regular meeting of the City Council on the 26th day of September
1966, by the following vote, to wig:
