AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 780 AND THE
WEST COVINA MUNICIPAL CODE SO AS TO REPEAL A
CONDITION. (Zone Change No. 229 - Weaver and
Alscot Development Co�
The City Council of the City of West Covina does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 780 adopted February 4, 1963,
is hereby amended to repeal and delete therefrom, and from any section
or map contained in the West Covina Municipal Code, the following pro-
vision, to wit:
"This section shall be operative and said zone change shall
be effective only upon the completion of an office building upon
said property pursuant to and in compliance with the variance
granted by Resolution No. 2474 adopted by the City Council on
October 8, 1962."
SECTION 2. Until changed in the manner required by law
the property described in said Ordinance No. 780 shall be zoned C-1.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as required by
law.

introduced and placed upon its first reading at a regular meeting of
the City Council on the 25th day of Jul , 1966. That, there-
after, said ordinance was duly adopted and passed at a regular meeting
of the City Council on the 22nd day of August , 19660 by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen: 'Gillum, Nichols, Gleckman.
NOES: Councilmen: Snyder, Mayor Krieger.
ABSENT: Councilmen: None.
