AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA AMENDING THE WEST COVINA MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO THE DEFINITION OF JUNK AND
SALVAGE.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does ordain
as follows:
SECTION 1. The West Covina Municipal Code is hereby amen-
ded by the addition thereto of a new Section 5320.1 reading as
follows:
115320.10 JUNK OR SALVAGE DEFINED.
As used in this Chapter, "junk or salvage" shall mean
and include any metal or metal scrap from business establish-
ments that is purchased for its salvage value, and paper
or cardboard from business establishments if such paper or
cardboard is baled on the business premises by the owner
or operator of same and is sold for its salvage value."
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as required
by law.

do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No.961 was regularly
introduced and placed upon its first reading at a regular meeting
of the City Council on the 22nd day of November , 1965. That,
thereafter, said ordinance was duly adopted and passed at a regular
meeting of the City Council on the 28th day of March, 1966 ,Xi,
