AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA AMENDING THE WEST COVINA MUNICIPAL
CODE SO AS TO REZONE CERTAIN PREMISES. (Zone
Change No. 354 - Aschenbrenner)
•The City Council of the City of West Covina does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find, determine and
declare that the following zone changes and amendments were duly initiated,
that notice of hearing thereon was duly given and published, that public
hearings thereon were duly held by the Planning Commission and by the City
Council, and that the public convenience, necessity and general welfare
and good zoning practice require that the following zone change and amend-
ment be made.
SECTION 2. The 'West Covina Municipal,Code is hereby amended
by the addition thereto of a new section 9202.2.82 reading as follows:
"9202.2.82. Zone Changes. Notwithstanding the pro-
visions of Section 9202.2 and the Zoning Map referred to
therein, the following described premises are hereby placed
and included in the C-1 Neighborhood Commercial Zone, to wit:
That portion of Lot 1 of Block 29 of the Phillips Tract,
in the City of nest Covina, County of Los Angeles,
State of California, as shown on map recorded in Book
9, at pages 3 and 4 of Miscellaneous Records, on file
in the office of the County Recorder of said County
described as follows:
The westerly 186 feet of the easterly 203 feet, of
the northerly 150 feet of said lot."
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as required by
law.
